When I was eleven, my life changed forever.
Although I had gone to bed at three a.m. the night before and it was only six o’clock, I was already awake and I would no more be able to fall asleep again, because of what I had seen the day before. I had a dream, that I had already forgotten, but which had caused me to wake up in a melancholic mindset. A few minutes later, still lying in my bed with a leg over my duvet, the other one under it as if I wanted to feel at the same time the heat of my bed and the freshness of the morning breeze coming through the open window, I started thinking a bit confusingly and inconsistently, in many directions indeed.
